Bowdoin College

If you are interested in Bowdoin, I highly recommend you take an official tour. I walked around the campus since I was in the area, but I didn’t leave knowing or feeling much about the campus, college, or community. While you are in the area you may also want to take a tour of Bates.

General Impression: In a nice neighborhood. Close to Portland, Maine airport. Quiet campus mid-day and mid-week in September. Sports center is about 3/4 mile down the street.

Note: I also visited Colby College and the University of New Hampshire on this trip. I flew into Portland, Maine and out of Boston.
